This brief film was taken with an 8mm movie camera in 1973 at the 200th-anniversary re-enactment of the arrival of the ship Hector and early Scottish immigrants in Pictou, Nova Scotia, in 1773. The impressive re-enactment took place on a large field overlooking Pictou Harbour in front of Norway House.
