Pictou Bee Press has commissioned this special limited-edition pin to commemorate the 250^th anniversary of the arrival of the ship Hector in Pictou, Nova Scotia, in 1773. This handsome souvenir pin is a modified likeness of a medal produced in 1923 to mark the 150^th Hector anniversary.

Our substantial pin is 1.25 inches in diameter and made of zinc alloy with an antique silver finish. It is held securely by a butterfly clasp and comes with an attractive commemorative bookmark and a swatch of Nova Scotia tartan.
