Here is a photo of the famous Bridgeville elm tree, under which Rev. James MacGregor preached his first East River sermon in Gaelic and English in October 1786.
This tree was also the site of a memorable Sunday service held on 15 July 1923 during the 150th Hector Anniversary week.
