A Pictou Christmas offers a whimsical spoof of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” with a Pictou-Scottish twist. This beautifully illustrated new holiday book also contains a brief account of Christmases past in Pictou town and county.

The author and illustrator hope that A Pictou Christmas, with its fanciful tableau of people, objects, and animals, and historical overview of Christmas yore, will be a welcome and humorous antidote to the season’s stresses, excesses, and strains.
